Rachel completed her new pyjama bottoms with minimal help from me (not that I have a clue what I'm doing). She, at least, took a sewing class from a talented young woman in our last ward so she had a little bit of an idea of what she was up to, but not much. I guess that makes us pretty good pretenders!
Here she is showing them off:
Now the other children are not-so-patiently waiting for the elastic to arrive so I can help them each make their own pair. In the meantime, I've turned my efforts to making face masks. So far I've made a grand total of...one. It was a rushed order since Andrew wanted to go to the grocery store for a few things before we officially went into shelter-in-place mode. Unfortunately, and naturally, everyone else had the same thought so he had a hard time finding the things that we needed (like fresh produce).
Tomorrow I might try a few more, though spring break is also over so it will be a busy school day so who knows how much I'll actually get accomplished.
