Before I get to the big kids, first I'll give an update on the Zoë home front. She threw up this morning when she woke up. I'm not sure why because I honestly don't think this is a tummy bug. I'm pretty sure it's just because I washed the sheets (I washed the sheets on Wednesday and she threw up on Friday (though it still felt like Thursday since it was the middle of the night) so it would follow that when I washed the sheets on Friday she would throw up on them on Saturday, right?).
After throwing up, she had a nice, warm bath (with no seizures this time (and no fever either)), ate a bowl of cereal, and then agreed to go back to bed (for a three-hour nap) because she wasn't functioning very well. When she woke up she was back to her chipper(er) self and demanded breakfast (again). This time she had four bowls of cereal (because Andrew and I were tag-teaming some chores and weren't paying attention to how many times the other had filled her bowl) and has since kept it down, along with a few snacks and dinner.
I'm not sure she's feeling 100% yet but I'm confident she's feeling much better.
Without any other kids to take care of, and with a very sleepy Zoë on our hands (unusual for her and us), Andrew and I managed to sleep in until 10:00 (though I got up at 7:30 for my breakfast routine and then went back to bed) and then Andrew went grocery shopping while Zoë and I napped. My head no longer feels like it's on the verge of exploding so I think I will survive this thing as well.
