I broke down and bought some headbands for Zoë—to cover her gaping bald spot. I can't tell you how long it took to find headbands without flowers as big as Zoë's head. The bows still look a bit large for her head but she also no longer looks like a (really cute and adorable) balding old man so we'll call this a win.
She was rather exhausted from our outing this afternoon (as was I) and took a nice long nap right in the middle of the floor (as I probably would have done if I had the chance) so I took a few pictures of her looking peaceful and beautiful.
She's starting to plump up a bit and her paper-thin, red-hued (and slightly scary) newborn skin is being replaced with a soft, creamy, delicate newborn complexion. Time's already moving too fast!
