"I stayed dry!" Benjamin chirped in my ear far too early this morning, an announcement he thought was particularly exciting because he only had to earn one more sticker to fill up his chart and filling up his chart meant...
...earning a tunnel for his train!
...Benjamin and I built this:
(Just kidding; we're all good over here).
...earning a tunnel for his train!
So while everyone else in the house was fast asleep and Zoƫ occupied herself like this (she can bop the toys and make them jiggle, which she seems to enjoy, though I doubt she does it on purpose yet):
...Benjamin and I built this:
Let's all take a minute to appreciate the fact that I managed to work in the track splitters without leaving a single track zooming off to a dead end—I connected everything! I'm getting so good at this toy intended for the 3+ crowd! I'm so proud of me!
Oh, and him.
I'm so proud of Benjamin for learning to stay dry at night (even if I'm still waking him up in the middle of the night and dragging him off to the potty (I'm only doing that once (and he used to still wet the bed, which meant he was wetting the bed more than once at night...at nearly three years old)))! He's been my hardest child to potty train yet (his big sisters were both trained around 18 months) and has been driving me a little bonkers with his careless attitude about going on the potty.
We're still having issues with #2, but we'll get there. Potty training completion is just around the bend. It's so close I can almost smell it,
Wait...
What is that smell?
...Benjamin!!!
(Just kidding; we're all good over here).
