Due to the influences of her older sister, Miriam has taken to imaginative play much sooner than I expected. One of her favourite things to do is to put on fancy clothes. Here she is wearing a hat and scarf that Aunt Katharine made. She got them out and put them on all by herself.
On again, off again, on again, off again went her hat. By the time she was finished playing she looked like she had been touching a static ball.
Another one of her favourite things to do is to play peek-a-boo. Whenever she hears the word "where" she'll quickly cover up her face in the hope that we'll finish the sentence with "-'s the baby?" instead of something boring like "-s the ketchup?"
If we do happen to say "Where's the baby?" Mirim will wait a few seconds before surprising us—she was right behind her hands the whole time and we couldn't even find her. Silly us.
:D So so SO cute!
