Everything I do, Rachel does, too.
For example, Miriam spends a lot of time in a sling (courtesy of my friend Jill—thanks, Jill!).
Naturally baby Noora spends a lot of time in a sling as well.
And when I’m feeding Miriam, it’s not uncommon for Rachel to hop up on the couch next to me, lift up her shirt, “latch” Noora on (usually to her bellybutton) and announce,
“I’m seebing her like Mommy seebs Mi-i-am!”
It’s sweet.
And I think “seebing” is hilarious. (Some of my other favorite words are “bettybutton” for bellybutton and “tebby bear” for “teddy bear.”)
A few years ago, I bet you didn't know you were going to get to "seeb" a baby. You must feel lucky.
