I’m rather tired and I should be sleeping, but we wanted to put some pictures up for our family back in the States (and elsewhere).
Today was just another lazy recovery day for me. Miriam and I slept and slept and slept. My milk’s coming in so we’re doing a whole lot of eating, too. The first time she got a good mouthful of milk Miriam’s eyes got all big. When she finished eating she delatched, gave a satisfied smack of her lips, raised her eyebrows and got this look on her face that said, “That? Was incredible!” She was much more alert and vocal today; still pretty calm, though!
Rachel continues to love, love, love, love, love baby Miriam.
After Rachel went to bed we set up a little studio and took some more pictures of Miriam. We’ll try for some more later when I’m not quite as exhausted.
Thank you for those pictures! I really had a hard time waiting for them!!! You're so sweet, the two of you (Nancy and Andrew)... I think I'd only think about sleeping now...
ReplyDeleteThe girls are beautiful. Please tell Rachel that her French Auntie Marie loves her and loves her baby sister! JC was pretty excited to learn about Miriam's birth!
And my Lebanese friends were really wondering how and why I had a niece named "Miriam al-Noor"!!!
Love to you all!
Please get some rest, Nancy!
She looks like Andrew in that hat!
ReplyDeleteLove the photos! How adorable. Don't you just love the love of siblings :-)
ReplyDeleteThose studio pictures turned out great. We also set up our own little studio setting but our lighting was WAY too off. Too bad cuz I got some cute smiles, but the pictures just don't do it justice.
ReplyDeleteYou make me want a little baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
