We've purchased a few fans recently. We have a little meter in our house that counts our electricity usage and when we run the AC the wheel ominously zooms by. We're not sure our student budget will allow for that.
At first we bought one fan and it seemed to cool things off nicely...as long as you were sitting right in front of it...so we decided to buy two more so that we could each carry our personal fan around the house to keep ourselves cool.
So far it's been working. We haven't used the AC at all in the past few days.
And as an added benefit, they've provided Rachel with some nice new toys.
Can you guess what happened about two seconds after we snapped this photo?
See you don't need to buy toys, just things that come in boxes! I went and posted on Michelle's blog first, which doesn't require as much effort as posting on yours, and then I could come here and post really easily. I can work around Andrew! Love you guys!
ReplyDeleteI am guessing she pulled it from under her feed and fell, in which caused her to cry...
ReplyDeleteI am guessing she crawled inside it... that's what I would've done!
ReplyDeleteDeklan was watching the time posting on the blogs and noticed that your morning is our evening! What an observant boy he is!
ReplyDeletehmmm, I am thinking that Rachel pulled that flap from under foot and she fell backwards and cried. I still can't believe how big she has gotten! She looks really tall!
ReplyDeleteaunty ci-ci
ReplyDeleteit's deklan.
I was wondering if you would like to keep a blog with my class and I about Egypt! We have a smart board in school, and I will ask my teacher if we can blog and read about Egypt in the mornings...
What do you think?
Sweet, I'm behind though! You're finally there or should I say I am finally checking your blog to see you there/ What fun!
ReplyDeleteI think Deklan has a great idea, but I bet Nancy won't be able to do it until they get their internet hooked up at home, since right now they are "internet gypsies."
ReplyDeleteHurrah! I've caught up! You are now allowed to post again. :)
ReplyDeleteI guessing she pulled the box out from under her feet, fell, but got distracted on the way down and forgot to hit the ground, finding herself suspended in mid-air about an inch off the ground. She then taught herself to fly (since she's a fast learner anyway) and has discovered new ways to get into things that she shouldn't. :) Close?
ReplyDeleteI think Auntie Josie wins because she answered first (and correctly). Uncle David gets bonus points for creativity, but only if he comes out to visit (just kidding).
ReplyDeleteDeklan, I'd love to do it! You'll have to explain it to me a little more...do I need to start a new blog wit you? I'll phone you guys after we get internet and we can talk about it (probably on a Saturday morning, k?)
